Prensa Latina, September 28, 2020- Cuba’s Minister of Public Health Jose Angel Portal reiterated on Monday his country’s commitment to strengthen international cooperation and solidarity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic crisis in the world. The hearing on 10/6/20 is an opportunity for us to stand up for our community and interrupt the space of the Common Council Capital Budget Discussion. We need to bring attention to the forced hysterectomies of detained refugee women in ICE detention centers, acts of violence and murders of countless Black Trans Women and the persistent assault of state violence on black life.
We are asking community members to speak out against these atrocities. Please sign up to speak the names of our fallen comrades and to demand the city defund the police and invest in community.

Wisconsin has one of the highest daily reported cases of Covid per capita and in person schooling is a major factor driving it. We need every educational facility in the state to make the switch to all virtual learning if we expect this infection rate to reverse.
TAKE ACTION: Call and email Wisconsin Health Secretary Andrea Palm now to call on her to immediately order all Wisconsin K-12 schools, colleges and universities to virtual instruction until community spread is contained.
Yesterday, Palantir went public. We’ve been exposing the company for the past two years as part of our No Tech for ICE campaign, organizing protests, boycotts, research reports, and investigations into a firm that has been called “mission critical” for ICE.
We’re going to keep on them, and we need your help.
