Since it’s inception, curator Sharon Bjyrd has planned for monthly ‘activations’ for the I Am A Man: The Re-humanization of Black Men at Goodman South Madison Library (2222 S Park St). These community events are opportunities to bring the exhibition and it’s themes to life through artist talks from those exhibiting, conversations, performances and even hands-on making. Additionally, we will be featuring the collaborative playlist and book list curated by the exhibiting artists at the event for all.
Special Opportunity
at the Saturday 01/18 event from 1:00 – 4:00 pm activation we will joined by Phil from Washboard Press for live letterpress print-making!
