NO NEW BEGINNINGS WITHOUT GAZA 
As the global community celebrated the start of the new year, our Milwaukee community came together today to send a reminder: there’s no happy new year in Palestine – not when we’re entering the third calendar year of genocide. Thank you to everyone who joined us today to send a clear message that MKE stands with Palestine!
When we started these banner drops January 1, 2024, we didn’t know what to expect. All we knew is we wanted to keep Palestine top-of-mind for our neighbors and for ourselves, recommitting to the fight every single day. And in that time, we’ve had dozens upon dozens of volunteers show up to keep these near-daily banner drops going!
Today, a huge number of our volunteers from the past year – plus SO MANY new faces – showed up for a reunion/commemoration/community building banner drop and our hearts are full. 
The pro-liberation community in Milwaukee is dedicated, unrelenting, generous, and loving. Finding, nurturing, and sustaining these communities is what will get us through this fight and every other.
