| Here is a list of actions taking place throughout the United States: In California, educators across 11 cities are taking action for their pending collective bargaining agreements because the students and families in the state are making it clear that “We Can’t Wait.” In Kentucky, parents, educators and students are rallying at the state capital in Frankfort for more school investments. Follow Kentuckians for the Commonwealth on Facebook In Houston, Community Voices for Public Education hosts “A Day Without Students” this week to push back against their state takeover. CVPE-Houston on X In Louisiana, Step Up Louisiana is attending a Board of Education meeting in mass in the state capitol, Baton Rouge – follow along on X In Michigan, MEJC is fighting forward with their Babies vs. Billionaires event. (Also on X) In Chicago, Illinois, educators and community members are participating in “Walk-ins” at more than 100 school sites throughout the city for a fair CTU contract and a high-quality school day – catch the action on X In Nashville, Tennessee, SEIU and fellow coalition members will speak in front of the Metro Council about the need for school funding and workers rights.
