This past week, on the 60th anniversary of el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, Malcolm X’ assassination by the capitalist state, and as we approach 100 years of his life, we reflect on his dedication to, and deep love for the people. His sharp analysis of white supremacy, capitalism and U.S. imperialism are relevant today.

Now, more than ever, Malcolm X’s teachings speak to the urgent need for collective action and unity to fight racism, exploitation and oppression.
We must realize our collective power to defend our rights and fight against the imposed injustices of a tyrant and oppressive economic and political system.
We must organize and fight for the liberation of our people. We must fight for all we need and deserve, and must not settle for anything less.
