People with disabilities and families have been calling their Congressional reps about the threats to Medicaid funding. The House budget bill has at least $880 Billion in cuts. Families and people with disabilities met or went to the office of WI House members last week when they were in state.
This week U.S. Senators should be in WI. People have asked for meetings with Senator Johnson but not been given a promise of a meeting. His answering machines are often filled.
People are planning to meet at his Madison office Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1 P.M., at 5315 Wall Street, #110. TV coverage has been invited and are aware. Signs will be available but bring your own if you want. So far, TV channels 3, 15, and 27 have said they are interested. But a bigger group will get better chance of a story.
