This celebration will be an Indigenous & Women-led event that will embrace the U.N. theme for this year’s Women’s Day: Rights, Equality, & Empowerment!
It will be family friendly, fun, & welcoming to all. Indigenous drummers, singers and dancers with share.
There will be inspiring speakers, songs to be sung, and hope to be shared. This will be a celebration and a call for action.
This event also marks the kick-off of Building Unity’s 25-day
“March to Election Day Tour” which will travel to all regions of Wisconsin, co-hosting tour stop events in over 30 communities including all 12 of Wisconsin’s Sovereign Indigenous Nations.
The tour will bring people together to explore important issues, share information & to ensure all are ready to vote.
