MEDIA ADVISORY: Meriter Nurses To Hold Strike Ready Rally to Demand Improved Safety, Security
MADISON, WI – On Tuesday, nurses at Meriter Hospital represented by SEIU Wisconsin will be joined by State Senator Kelda Roys and community and labor allies at a rally to highlight their ongoing union contract negotiations with Meriter management. Meriter RNs are demanding: improved security practices to protect all Meriter workers and patients, patient ratios that keep nurses and their patients safe, and wage increases to promote retention.
