On March 31, 2025, the Trump administration conceded in a court filing that it had mistakenly deported Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a legally protected Maryland resident, father, and member of SMART 100, to El Salvador “because of an administrative error.” Last week the Supreme Court ordered the administration to “facilitate” his immediate return.
