| In the NEWS: Cassandra Dixon of Palestine Partners is in Malta and writes: Dear friends, I am in Malta with the Freedom Flotilla, where we have been preparing to sail to Gaza with desperately needed human aid. Last night our boat, the Conscience, was attacked off Malta in International waters. Two drones fired missiles at the ship, damaging the generator, starting a fire, and slightly injuring multiple people. The Turkish delegation and the crew were already on board, and the rest of us, who were scheduled to board on the 29th but were delayed by bureaucratic measures, were waiting to board. It is a full two months — 58 days — since Israel has allowed a single bottle of water or bag of flour to enter Gaza. We are heartbroken not to have been able to deliver the aid we carried, and we beg the world to demand that Israel an open humanitarian corridor into Gaza and stop the ongoing Genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing of the West Bank.
