CALL TO ACTION – DEFEND OUR IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES

Two harmful bills — SB 57 and AB 24 — are being debated in the Wisconsin Legislature. These proposals would force sheriffs to act like ICE, require immigration checks in jails, and threaten counties with funding cuts for not cooperating.
They are unjust, and will harm our communities

Dos proyectos que se iniciaron desde el comienzo de este año son perjudiciales por los republicanos— SB 57 y AB 24 — y están siendo debatidos en la Legislatura de Wisconsin.
Estas propuestas obligarían a los alguaciles a actuar como ICE, requerirían revisiones migratorias en las cárceles y amenazarían a los condados con recortes de fondos si no cooperan.
