On Friday, May 23, labor leaders across Greater Madison will join Lt. Governor Rodiguez in solidarity with Meriter RNs ahead of the upcoming strike. After months of bargaining, Meriter management refused to move on key issues impacting patient and nurse safety.
Labor leaders are coming together on Friday because an injury to one is an injury to all. Whether it be the nurses caring for us at the bedside, the firefighters keeping our communities safe, the electricians who keep the lights on, or the delivery drivers ensuring our packages arrive, we all deserve fair compensation, workplace safety, and a voice on the job.
We encourage Union members to attend the Press conference. And wear your Union Attire!
