In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. Join our contingent at NO KINGS!
Madison Rafah Sister City Project, Jewish Voice for Peace, Interfaith Peace Working Group, Mennonite Action Madison, and CODEPink are inviting faith and peace groups to join us on June 14 at the “No Kings” march and rally in Madison. We hope for a large Palestinian solidarity contingent to march together and speak out against the continued destruction of Gaza, the blockade on humanitarian aid, and the increased violence in the West Bank.
Meeting Location: Base of Bascom Hill (or edge of the crowd going up Bascom Hill, depending on size of crowd). (See additional upcoming NO KINGS marches in Wisconsin.)
Schedule:
Gather at 1:45 p.m.
March at 2 p.m. from Library Mall to the Capitol
Rally at 3 p.m. at the Capitol
Bring: Signs and banners, Palestinian flags, keffiyehs
