–LGBTQ+ people are 3 times more likely to be incarcerated than the general population.
— Nearly one in six trans people have been incarcerated – rising to 1 in 2 for Black trans women.
— Queer and trans people often face violence, isolation, and lack of affirming care while incarcerated – and more barriers when reentering.
That’s why we’re holding space to talk about it. Invite your family, friends, and networks to this dynamic panel and community conversation!  Register here!

Thurs June 26, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm — Every Thursday in June -Vigil for Palestine & Beyond. Meet at the southeast corner of Williamson & Blair Streets. Stand in witness at the end of the work day. Join in sorrow and solidarity as we continue to acknowledge Palestinian suffering and the suffering of so many at the hands of what MLK called “the giant triplets of racism, extreme materialism, and militarism” that comprise US policy worldwide and at home. Bring a sign, your rage, your broken heart, and your determination not to be silent. Come for the hour or for however long you can stay. Women’s Intl League for Peace and Freedom
