Stand for Gaza – Solidarity Fast and Action

Join us for a one-day presence during Milwaukee’s July 3 lakefront festivities to demand an end to the U.S.-backed genocide in Gaza. This is a public-facing action with multiple ways to engage:
Solidarity fast (under canopy tents)
Press conference at 6:00 PM
Distribute flyers and UN Gaza statistics
Conversations with passersby
Interfaith prayer & meditation (4-5:30 with Muslim prayers at 5)
Educational visuals and banners

Plan ahead for traffic and parking – MCTS bus routes that cross Brady Street with a walk to pedestrian bridge include RT 30, Green Line, Rt 14 (Humboldt), Rt 15 (Holton). $2 cash fare. See ridemcts.com. HOPis free and ends at Ogden and Prospect with Brady St. being a few blocks north.
This event is organized by community members and activists from Peace Action WI, M4P, USPCN, PSL, BLOC, CODE PINK, WI Coalition for Justice In Palestine and others.
