In August, Midwest Environmental Advocates and Our Children’s Trust filed a groundbreaking lawsuit—Dunn v. Wisconsin PSC—on behalf of fifteen Wisconsin youth who are fighting to secure their constitutional rights to a stable climate and a healthy future. The youth plaintiffs, ages 8 to 17, are asking the courts to protect them from state laws that harm their health and wellbeing, perpetuate Wisconsin’s fossil fuel-dominated electricity sector and obstruct the transition to renewable energy. Join us on October 8 to learn about this case and what’s at stake. We’ll hear from attorneys and plaintiffs involved in the case, as well as climate and public health expert Dr. Jonathan Patz.
