Workers of every race and immigration status who keep this country fed, clean, safe and healthy deserve safety and dignity on the job. Still, the Trump administration continues to carry out illegal mass deportations, separate families and target people (including children, even infants) based on how we look, where we work and the language we speak.
These are companies like Avelo Airlines, a commercial airliner, and Global X, Eastern Airlines and Omni Air International that provide charter flights for university and professional sports teams, corporate charters, vacation charters and entertainers.
Shamefully, Global X has already reportedly transported nearly 500 children under the age of 10, including infants, just this year.
Your voice is important and the pressure is working. Following a nationwide effort, Avelo recently announced it is canceling all its routes on the West Coast and all its operations in Maine.
If one worker isn’t safe, no one is safe. Add your name to a letter addressed to airline CEOs and demand they de-ICE these flights!
