“RIGHTS OF NATURE – A GLOBAL MOVEMENT” tells the story of a growing, worldwide initiative to establish legal status for nature and its right to exist and flourish. The film travels to 3 countries to see this principle being incorporated into environmental practices to protect the earth and non-human life.
Speaker Anahkwet (Guy Reiter) is a traditional Menominee and environmental activist who is a key figure in the Wisconsin Rights of Nature organization. He developed a Rights of Nature Resolution which was recently introduced in the WI State Assembly.
