Join us for our monthly Second Sat. Discussion Group at the offices of Moratorium NOW! Coalition.

We will discuss the significance of the 108th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration which has been used to provide a pseudo-legal justification for the forced removals, national oppression and genocide against the Palestinian people and others in the region.

Also, we will examine the potential for launching a campaign to release resources for widespread food distribution in the United States in light of the burgeoning socioeconomic crisis. The Trump White House refused to release funds to feed tens of millions of hungry people in the country.

The government shutdown must be blamed on the White House and its backers in Congress. Millions of workers and their families are going without paychecks and food. Unemployment is rising sharply while the administration has banned the issuing of the monthly jobs report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Finally, we will continue our discussion on developing a ten-point program to address the current crisis in the U.S. and around the world.
