Starbucks Workers United: Big rallies, hundreds of actions, and heavy hitters holding the line

View this email in your browser

Less than a week since baristas launched an open-ended, national ULP strike to protest Starbucks’ disgusting union-busting and fight for a fair union contract, support is pouring in from every corner.

Leaders like Zohran Mamdani, Senator Bernie Sanders, and organizations like AFL-CIO and the No Kings Alliance have publicly backed baristas on strike. Ken Casey from the Dropkick Murphys even sent a video standing with workers. When allies like you speak out and show up, we build the kind of power it takes to win this fight.

And the momentum is only growing.

On Thursday, thousands of supporters turned out at Red Cup Rallies across the country. And over 100 Stop Buying Starbucks flyering actions have been organized in less than a week.

Baristas are risking it all, standing up to a multi-billion-dollar corporation to demand higher pay, increased hours, real staffing, and accountability for the hundreds of unfair labor practices Starbucks refuses to address. And until Starbucks finally addresses these problems at the table, baristas will remain on the picket line.

Here is how you can take action today:

✔️ Stop buying Starbucks. Brew at home, hit your neighborhood café, and keep the solidarity strong. Share this with everyone you know and help build pressure on Starbucks to come to the table.

✔️ Spread the word. Share our Instagram post featuring support from elected leaders, artists, and allies nationwide. Every share strengthens the movement..

Together, we can give Starbucks the wake-up call they have been avoiding. Cup by cup and share by share, we can make them listen and win real change.

☕ More updates from the picket line to come. Until then: No contract, no coffee.

In solidarity,

Sabina Aguirre
