Yesterday, union baristas and their allies took their picket line straight to Starbucks’ supply chain. Before the sun was up, baristas were already outside major Starbucks distribution centers in Minden, Nevada, and York, Pennsylvania, calling out Starbucks’ unresolved unfair labor practices.
After hours on the line, 46 baristas and allies were arrested after rallying to demand fair contracts and an end to union-busting. All for asking Starbucks to do the bare minimum.
Baristas took the risk, now you can help their message travel! Make some noise for baristas who showed up and held the line.
Comment and share anywhere and everywhere to support baristas on strike!
Wherever Starbucks is, our picket lines will be there too. Starbucks is the largest violator of labor law in modern history, and our union is fighting for a better workplace.
Striking barista Jeremy Nuno shared why this fight continues: “We love our jobs, but we can’t do it under these unfair labor practices. Starbucks is notorious for union-busting, and we are not going to let that slide any longer.”
The Red Cup Rebellion just hit one month, and baristas are still everywhere Starbucks is. Our strength is in our solidarity, and baristas will not stop fighting until Starbucks ends union busting, resolves all pending unfair labor practices, and finalizes fair contracts. Thank you for being with us.
Solidarity forever,
Zarian Antonio Pouncy
