Milwaukee, Feb. 20-21, 2026: Founder’s Day Celebration Honoring Dr. James Cameron

America’s Black Holocaust Museum invites you to join us for the 2026 Dr. James Cameron Founder’s Day Celebration.

Held February 20–21, this two-day observance honors the life and enduring legacy of Dr. James Cameron—lynching survivor, historian, museum founder, and lifelong advocate for truth, justice, and racial healing.

This year’s theme, Love in Action, calls us to reflect, remember, and recommit. Through storytelling, intergenerational dialogue, and ceremonial reflection, we will uplift Dr. Cameron’s example and the work he began—preserving Black history and advancing understanding in our communities.
