6:00 pm – Gather w/ snacks and refreshments. 7:00 pm – Panel discussion led by elected leaders
Moderated by Rev. Everett Mitchell and Rev. David Hart
Part 2: Feb. 21, 6-9pm – (First Unitarian Society – 900 University Bay Dr.) A Town Hall Meeting Leader and Community: A Collective Call for Nonviolent Action
6:00 pm – Potluck for People Peace & Planet 7:00 pm – Panel discussion led by elected leaders.
Part 3: Feb. 22, 1-3:45pm – “A New Form of Freedom Rides” and a Capitol Assembly for Nonviolent Action – Communities of faith, conscience, and goodwill, will meet at houses of worship and other locations to form “Freedom Caravans.” Cars in these caravans will display signs calling for protection of our communities and an end to the violence perpetrated by federal agents. They will grow as they move towards the Capitol Square from all corners of Dane County. After circumnavigating the Capitol Square at least once, participants will meet in the Capitol Rotunda for an “Assembly of Joyful Resistance” (~ 2:00 pm)with music, singing, and more.
