Starbucks runs on its app – Let’s disrupt it together

Apps are how big companies keep the money flowing, and Starbucks is no exception. When customers stop using the app, it sends a message that the company can’t ignore.

That’s why our Delete the App campaign is catching on fast, and why we need volunteers to help turn momentum into real pressure.

You’ll be reaching out to Starbucks customers and asking them to delete the Starbucks app, all from the comfort of your couch!

Sign up and join us in standing with baristas fighting for dignity on the job.
Turn texts into solidarity!

Starbucks’ revenue is driven by its loyalty program. The company has invested heavily in the app to drive convenience, repeat purchases, and profits. When customers delete the app together, it disrupts the system Starbucks depends on and makes it clear there is no business as usual while workers’ demands go unresolved.

Union baristas are waging a historic, nationwide unfair labor practice strike. They’re demanding fair pay, reliable hours, and an end to illegal union busting. Starbucks would love for this to blow over and continue business as usual, but baristas aren’t letting that happen.

This is one of those moments where small actions stack up fast. When people move together, companies notice. Phone and text banking is how this campaign grows, helping connect the dots, bring more people in, and keep the momentum moving.

Baristas are in it for the long haul. Let’s be there with them.

Solidarity forever,

Sabina Aguirre
