Sponsored by the Queen of Peace Racial Justice team, along with Edgewood University and the Reentry Team at Nehemiah’s Center for Urban Leadership. Following the screening there will be light refreshments and a discussion of the importance and transformative power of the arts and education in the prison system prior to an individual’s release. Changing the focus of the prison system from punishment to redemption will also be considered.
