100 days strong. Downtown Disney showed up!

On Saturday, baristas and supporters rallied at Downtown Disney, one of Starbucks’ busiest locations, marking 100 days of standing strong and refusing to back down.

Baristas at this store have been on an unfair labor practice strike since November 2025, and the location has repeatedly been closed, run on limited hours, or paused mobile orders due to chronic staffing shortages. Even at one of Starbucks’ most profitable stores, workers showed that no location is too big to demand dignity and respect.

This Valentine’s Day, baristas showed Starbucks what real love looks like: solidarity, respect, and workers and allies standing together.

Downtown Disney should be a place where magic happens for workers, too. Instead, baristas have faced understaffing, low pay, and union busting. Still, their solidarity built here has proven stronger than every attempt to break it.Use the social icons below to share posts from Saturday’s rally on your channels to lift up baristas’ voices and show Starbucks this fight is only getting stronger.
This rally was another big moment for a movement that continues to grow, with more baristas organizing, nearly 700 elections won, and more stores going union every week.

That momentum was on full display at Downtown Disney.“For 100 days, we stood our ground against Starbucks’ illegal union busting because our love for our coworkers outweighed the company’s disregard for the law,” said Christi Gomoljak (she/her), a striking union barista of five years from the Downtown Disney store.

“This Valentine’s Day, we showed the world that solidarity is our strength as we fight for a fair contract and a better future at Starbucks.”

For years, baristas have shined a light on systemic issues throughout Starbucks’ business, including understaffing, chaotic scheduling, low wages, and too few hours to qualify for benefits. Starbucks executives call this the “Best Job in Retail.” Baristas know it could be, but right now, it’s missing the mark for miles.Baristas are still on strike and doing whatever it takes.
