The Cuban revolution has been an inspiration to the entire world. Despite the strict blockade imposed by the United States, which has caused shortages and hardship for the Cuban people, they have remained strong and defied all attempts to turn back their revolution.
Even with the blockade in place, Cuba prioritized the needs of the Cuban people who remarkably have a higher life expectancy than the U.S., they have a literacy rate of 99%, much higher than the U.S., their world class healthcare system is free to every Cuban, and unlike the U.S. they have never attacked another country. Instead they have sent doctors and educators to help countries in need. [read more]
