The strike drive is live! We need to call thousands of Twin Cities tenants to organize strike pledges. Each phone blitz will begin with a training on how to have strike conversations.
One week ago tenants in the Twin Cities launched a historic cities-wide rent strike drive in order to demand real eviction protection and rent relief for the thousands of tenants who have been targeted by the ICE siege and are now at risk of mass eviction. Our drive is organizing tenants to pledge to withhold rent on March 1st. We are asking allied orgs to invite your members to join a 2-hour phone bank shift this week. Every volunteer will be trained at the top of the zoom so all you need to do is get your members to sign-up for shifts.
