Peace Vigil at Willy & Blair 4:30 pm Thursdays beginning again March 2026
World Beyond War will indeed continue vigiling on Thursdays from 4:30 till 5:30! We had a good showing this week with only 24-hour notice. All were interested in keeping going. We’ll continue through April 30 (right up to May Day) and likely beyond.
We are interested in an intersectional approach that encompasses and connects Palestine, ICE, and all the aggression and harm the US is inflicting and supporting around the world. Here are the words we used this past week:
Bring your sorrow and solidarity to the corner of Williamson & Blair Streets on Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30 and stand with all who are suffering from U.S. unhinged warring and militarism, both domestically and abroad.
War is never an answer. Respect for human dignity, diplomacy, and international law are answers that would get us all to a better place!
Bring family and friends. Bring your own sign or use one of ours.
