The Sheboygan Democratic Party reported on March 16, 2026 that they discovered a smashed window and a brick inside their office. A message on the brick stated: “You’re the real Nazis,” on one side with a Swastika on the other. Labor and community organizers in Sheboygan and the surrounding area will be responding to this terrorist Nazi menace.
This latest terrorist incident is a continuation of Nazi activity in the Manitowoc and Sheboygan area recently. On International Women’s Day, March 8, 2026 a so-called Patriot Front group of about 8-10 walked in Manitowoc at a downtown park with faces covered with masks. They also placed a racist anti union banner on a bridge in Manitowoc. That same day, possibly this same group, held aloft a racist anti union banner in Fountain Park in Sheboygan in front of a Civil War Memorial.
In response to these latest terrorist attacks against the poor and working people of the Lakeshore Area, various organizations such as the Progressive Lakeshore People held a “No Hate. No Nazis!” unity rally in Manitowoc March 12, 2026 that drew dozens from many locations in Northeastern Wisconsin. (https://www.progressivelakeshorepeople.org/)

Labor and community organizations are continuing to monitor developments with people’s patrols and other activities. They will continue to confront and protest terrorist Nazi activity and will be raising these developments at “No Kings! No Billionaires” events March 28, 2026. There will be union, community, faith based and student contingents carrying banners and signs with slogans such as “No Borders In the Workers Struggle!,” “Money for People’s Needs Not Endless Wars and ICE!,” and “Union Jobs Not Nazis!” After March 28, the next major people’s action in Wisconsin will be May Day events in Madison and Milwaukee May 1 where similar demands will be raised.
