To Union Leadership, SCFL Delegates, workers, and our community allies,
Local Union members need our help!
Due to the partial government shutdown, TSA workers in Wisconsin and throughout the country are being forced to work without pay.
For many of us, these workers are our AFGE Local 777 Union siblings who ensure our airports and airlines are safe. For all of us, these are our neighbors, our friends, and members of our community. These workers are members of the working class. These workers are us.
Many workers are in desperate need of assistance. Last Fall, during the government shutdown, workers used what they had to pay their daycare costs, healthcare, dental care, utilities, groceries, and other necessary bills. With Spring upon us, utilities can now be shut off. In order to help pay the the rent or their home mortgage, workers went to their banks and credit cards, but it’s now more difficult to get lenders to approve loans and extend credit yet again.
It’s gotten so bad that some workers are even sleeping in their cars so they can pay other crucial bills.
So what can you as a community ally or as a union member do?
We are taking donations to help make sure these workers in our local community don’t lose their homes, don’t have their electricity cut off, don’t have their children go hungry, or don’t become homeless.
To personally donate (whatever you can afford), go to our Labor Relief Fund.
Use the QR code or go to the Link here.

We also are asking your Union, allied organization, or worker-friendly business commit to a donation.
For any donations over $200, please do not use the QR code, but if possible, write out checks to:
