April 4, 2026 marks the 58th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He battled racism, poverty and war, leaving us a rich legacy of struggle. Today the same racist, capitalist imperialist system keeps assaulting poor and working people with the same challenges – all intensified by the ultra right-wing Trump regime that is trying to reverse almost a century of gains. Join us for a potluck dinner followed by a discussion of how Dr. King’s legacy can help guide our battles today.
