Mennonite Action Madison is pleased to co-sponsor the Interfaith Peace Working Group (IPWG) spring conference “Nonviolence in Action: An Interfaith Conversation about Building the Beloved Community.”

8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Bethel Lutheran Church, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison
Following the conference, there will be an optional action event at the State Capitol (just 2 blocks walk from the church), featuring songs, readings of names of people who have been killed in recent and ongoing conflicts in Gaza, at the hands of ICE, and in Iran, and brief reflections / meditations by the conference’s keynote speakers.
Conference keynote speakers are Shane Claiborne, head of Red Letter Christians, a movement of people committed to living “as if Jesus meant the things he said”; and Kathy Kelly, Board President of World Beyond War.
