The struggle for workers rights crosses all industries in Wisconsin and beyond. Learning about each other’s issues is one of the most interesting aspects to being part of the Labor movement. Standing in solidarity with people in an industry other than their own is one of the strongest things a union member can do.
MALC, LCLAA Milwaukee, Milwaukee-Waukesha Farmers Union, and Voces de la Frontera are collaborating for the film screening of Los Lecheros, a short documentary on the undocumented workers in America’s dairyland. Following the screening we will have a discussion on worker and farmer issues. Refreshments provided.
