At this meeting you will also have the opportunity to sign up as a new member or renew your membership if it has expired.
This meeting will be a space to share, learn, and organize together, ensuring our community remains strong, united, and active.
During the meeting, we will discuss planning for May 1 (May Day) in Madison. We will begin with a rally at Library Mall, followed by a march to the State Capitol, where we will close with another rally. On this national day of action, we will raise our voices to demand:
- An end to the 287(g) program
- An economy for all
- The abolition of ICE
This will be a day of solidarity, truth, and power, and we want to be prepared to welcome everyone who will join us in marching together as a united community. We will also share ways to get involved and act, so everyone can contribute in meaningful ways.
The meeting will include information about other events, ways to get involved, and our membership growth, as well as preparation for May Day.
This meeting is more than just a gathering it’s a space to connect, support one another, and strengthen our community. In difficult times, we continue to stand strong, fighting for one another and caring for our community.
We hope the April meeting will be just as meaningful as March if not even more as we continue to organize and grow together.
