Thank you for signing the petition in support of universal free school meals for every student in the Madison Metropolitan School District. Our petition now has over 700 signatures, but we still have work to do to convince the MMSD School Board to fully fund Free School Meals for Madison.

The MMSD School Board meets on Monday, June 24, 2924 from 6-9 PM to vote on the preliminary budget for the 2024-25 school year. The meeting is hybrid – those attending in person at the Doyle Admin Building (545 W Dayton St) can meet us across the street at 5:00 PM for a short community discussion.

Madison Area DSA will meet starting at 5 PM in the grass on Frances St. (in front of the Kohl Center) to build connections and prepare talking points for the board meeting. Madison Area DSA will be providing free pizza and some training for anyone who can make it at 5.
