With only hours to go before the state of Georgia executes an innocent man, the efforts to prevent this horrific miscarriage of justice continue.
Messages of protest are going to every possible authority that can intervene from the Georgia Pardons and Parole Board to the Chatham County DA to President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. Thousands of petitions and calls are still flooding in. Keep it up. (Some websites are www.aiusa.org, www.iacenter.org, www.gfadp.org, www.colorofchange.org)
Keep calling on the Parole Board to reconsider its decision, and on the Chatham County (Savannah) District Attorney Larry Chisolm to do the right thing by contacting the Chatham County’s District Attorney’s office by phone/fax: Telephone: 912-652-7308 Fax: 912-652-7328.
Continue to send a send a letter to Dr. Carlo Musso at Rainbow Medical Associates and urge him to refuse to participate in the execution of Troy Davis. Rainbow Medical Associates is the medical team that assists with Georgia’s executions.

A number of people in buses and vans have left for Jackson to participate in events outside the prison.
Democracy Now with Amy Goodman will be broadcasting from Jackson starting at 6pm until 8. This program will be carried on WRFG 89.3FM and streamed at www.wrfg.org
In Atlanta, Troy’s supporters will gather at the State Capitol at 6pm. At www.gfadp.org/vigils is a list of other locations where opponents of this execution will gather.
