Members of Machinsts Lodge 516 remain on strike against Manitowoc Cranes (Manitowoc Co.) to stop union-busting at the corporation. If you are in the Manitowoc area you can stop by the picket line on 30th Street between Viebahn and Dewey in Manitowoc, M-F 6 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sat. 6 a.m.-12 noon. If you are a member of a union, community, student or faith-based organization consider taking a delegation down to the picketline, taking up a collection for the strikers, stopping by the strike headquarters, getting solidarity statements and resolutions etc.If going to join the picketline, please consider bringing hot beverages such as coffee, apple cider etc.
