Milwaukee Feb. 6: “Take Back City Hall”

Why: To hold our elected officials accountable for this social & economic crisis in the city of Milwaukee.

From the north, south, east and west side of Milwaukee, we have experienced the misrepresentation and exploitation of deprived inner-city conditions. Time and time again, we have watched our elected officials tell us lies and sell us out to the highest bidder.  Milwaukee is one of the worst cities in America in poverty, education, employment, housing, community re-development, and even human & civil rights. It’s time we “Take Back City Hall” and give it back to the people!

ISSUES:

– unemployment
– adequate housing
– adequate public education
– adequate city transit
– transparency
– human/civil federal guidelines

DEMANDS:
– Audits on Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
– City Wide Moratorium
