Green Bay, Jan. 30 & 31: ‘Mining In The Penokee Hills Uncovered’

Frank Koehn will be presenting a program telling the truth about the Penokee Hills and Gogebic Taconite’s (GTac) attempt to develope and open pit taconite mine in Northern Wisconsin’s Penokee Hills.

Koehn’s presentation will include an overview of the project, the politics, and a discussion of Assembly Bill 426. AB 426 is will not only impact the Penokee Hills and the Bad River it will have far reaching impact on Wisconsin’s water resources.

MINING IN THE PENOKEES HILLS UNCOVERED will presented at the Harmony Cafe (http://www.focol.org/harmonycafe/) in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Monday, Jan. 30, from 7 PM – 9:00 PM.

On Tuesday, Jan. 31, Frank Koehn will be presenting MINING IN THE PENOKEE HILLS UNCOVERED, at the Brown County Library (http://www.co.brown.wi.us/) from 1:00 PM. – 3:00 PM. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors in the Green Bay area.
