As a part of the MTEA initiated “Children’s Week” a rally for keeping the arts, p.e. and library in our schools will be held from 4:30-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 on the steps of the Central Services Building at 5225 West Vliet Street. After the rally individuals and families are invited to the MTEA offices to make a large art project as a gift to schools across the district. You will also have the opportunity to make a personalized flower pot to take home. The workshop will be led by certified MPS art teachers. Individuals are welcome to attend the rally, the workshop or both events. All are welcome – feel free to forward this event to your friends and family. Kid friendly healthy snacks will be served.
