YES! for Palermo’s Workers / Picket Line Delegation June 15

NOTE: Youth Empowered in the Struggle or YES!, is the youth organization within Voces de la Frontera, http://vdlf.org/. A YES! delegation will be on the Palermo Workers Union picketline at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012.

YES!, we’re standing in solidarity with workers at Palermo’s Pizza in Milwaukee.

Why? Workers at Palermo’s have been striking for several days after trying to organize better safety conditions within the plant. Palermo’s refuses to let them organize, even after several workers have been injured etc… This eventually led to a strike. As you all know, WI has been through a very rough patch when it comes to Workers’ Rights. This is another example of attack on workers. Enough is enough!

Ways you can help? People are BOYCOTTING Palermo’s so if you’re not able to make it Friday and want to contribute in some way, BOYCOTT their products and organize others to do the same!

You can also sign this petition and help circulate to all friends, family, organizations, etc… Only takes like 30 seconds to fill out.
