Committee To Stop Fight FBI Repression Fights On

http://www.stopfbi.net/

The Committee to Stop FBI Repression wants to remind our friends and supporters that it is nearly three years since the FBI raided seven homes and subpoenaed 23 anti-war and international solidarity activists to a Grand Jury in Chicago. Assistant US Attorney Barry Jonas has yet to announce the end of the “ongoing investigation” or to return the belongings of Palestinian-American leader Hatem Abudayyeh of Chicago. It is by building the antiwar movement and an intertwined movement against political repression that we will defeat US warmongers and those who see themselves as the political police in charge of an increasingly repressive state. There will be a protest in Minneapolis on the anniversary.

ALSO:

The FBI is increasing its spying on and harassment of Syrian-Americans and others who are anti-war. This should prove a big job because opinion polls show that most people are opposed to the plans of President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry starting another US war in the Middle East. For now the US attacks are stalled, but be on guard. See this completely biased piece by the NY Times: FBI Spying on Antiwar Syrian-Americans

“The F.B.I. has increased its surveillance of Syrians inside the United States in response to concerns that a military strike against the government of President Bashar al-Assad could lead to terrorist attacks here or against American allies and interests abroad, according to current and former senior United States officials.”
