As we enter this joyous and generous holiday season, give the Cuban 5 the gift of SOLIDARITY!
The Popular Education Project to Free the Cuban 5 is calling on all our freedom loving supporters to send President Obama this Christmas letter asking that he release the Cuban 5.
This may seem simple and insignificant, but our collective action has the power to make freedom happen! Historically, letter writing campaigns have successfully pressured prison officials to release prisoners from solitary confinement; forced the Bureau of Prisons to provide adequate medical attention to prisoners; and have ensured prisoners win parole.
One letter means nothing, but multiply it by several thousand and it will show President Obama undeniable proof that the Cuban 5 have supporters that care about them and want them to be set FREE!
Please take 10 minutes of your time to print this letter, sign it, put it into an envelope and put it into the mailbox on your way to work, school, church, or your next protest. I think we can all agree that this small commitment of your time is nothing compared to the YEARS the Cuban 5 have spent in jail.
