Please join The Coalition For Justice, NAACP, Urban League, and Micah as we come together for a rally and march for justice in conjunction with nation wide efforts to eradicate police brutality and the shooting/killing of Black men and women across this country.
This rally and march will take place Saturday, December 13th at 12pm. We will meet at Red Arrow Park, which has become our ground zero in the wake of the Murder of Dontre Hamilton. [Dontre was shot 14 times by former Milwaukee Police Officer Christopher Manney. The autopsy reports released to the community reveal that this officer savagely beat Dontre before firing all of the rounds in his weapon into his body]
Our community is fed up with seeing our brothers, sisters, daughters, and sons being brutalized by police officers who are sworn to protect and serve our communities. We are fed up with the fact these officers have not been properly trained and psychologically evaluated, but are still free to come into our communities and kill our people with impunity. They have gotten away with these crimes long enough. That ends now! Please join us as we make our voices heard, and our presence felt. See you there.
