Join us for the inauguration of young leaders in the Black Liberation Movement, swearing in the Young Gifted and Black Coalition on January 5th, 2015, in the WI State Capital, ground floor rotunda at 12:30 pm. We will begin our rally at 12:00.
YGB a group of young Black leaders, in and of the people, have been committed to liberating the Black community, through collective empowerment, action, and organizing against state violence and for community control.
This inauguration takes place directly after the inauguration of Scott Walker, who has been committing state violence against Black communities through various policies and practices. YGB are being sworn in as Freedom Fighters, charged with ending state violence against, and shifting power to, our communities.
