In recent accounts of injustice across the nation, we have been highly connected to the struggle of police brutality and lack of criminal charges by the DA’s office; Derek Williams, Corey Stingley, James Perry, and now Dontre Hamilton.
However, in 2014 we had the highest year of child deaths from block gun violence. We understand our fight is two fold, and we can not ignore the everyday problems faced in our backyard, either related to police abuse of power, or lack of love creating hate by neighborhoods.
Come walk the hood with us. Stand in prayer circles, reach out to neighbors, let our VOICES BE HEARD. Our community is waiting for us to change our own conditions, so let’s stop waiting on the government force to correct our situations. Lets police, correct, and build our own.
