Join Rockford Fight Imperialism, Stand Together (FIST) as we host a discussion on what poverty wages and police terror are doing to our communities along with how to organize the struggle against these issues.

Hear from a panel of local activists and featured speaker Lamont Lilly from North Carolina. Durham-based activist Mr. Lamont Lilly is a contributing editor with the Triangle Free Press and organizer with Workers World Party. He was a delegate at the “Jackson Rising: New Economies Conference,” in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Lilly is a regularly featured speaker and as a writer has contributed to The Root, Truthout, CounterPunch and Black Youth Project, among other publications.
