Governor Walker’s proposed state budget would cut $300 million from the UW system and place it under the control of the politically-appointed Board of Regents instead of the elected state legislature.
We stand in opposition to Walker’s plan to sacrifice the quality, accessibility, and affordability of higher education in Wisconsin to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy.
