The Wisconsin Bail Out The People Movement stands in solidarity with all faculty, staff, students and community supporters fighting to preserve the University of Wisconsin System and all public education….
WE DEMAND:
▪ The full funding and expansion of African–American
studies, Women’s and Gender studies, LGBTQ studies, and all departments and campus centers that serve oppressed peoples! Make the campus a safe space for all students!
▪ Hands off Shared Governance and The Wisconsin Idea!
▪ No dismantling of the UW System!
▪ The immediate repeal of outsourcing of any UW System staff to corporations; No privatization!
▪ The immediate repeal of the Jim Crow Act 10! No to
furloughs and layoffs! Collective bargaining rights
for all workers!
▪ Full and equal access to higher education and in-state tuition for undocumented students!
▪ No to charter schools!
▪ No tuition hikes! Cancel student debt-
Make the Banks Pay!
▪Mandatory public forums and access at
Board of Regents meetings!
▪ Open the books! Full transparency and student, worker, and community voice in our university endowment investments
